Stromma Netherlands aims to be Amsterdam’s most hospitable and inspiring tourist company with its brands Stromma.com, Canal Tours Amsterdam, Hop On Hop Off and ADAM Toren. The company hosts 1.5 million guests annually for the ultimate Amsterdam experience on 32 cruise ships, one passenger ship on the IJ, 14 open boats, 3 classic saloon steamers and 100 pedal boats.
As the largest subsidiary, Stromma Netherlands employs more than 350 people from various backgrounds who all share their love for Amsterdam with a wide range of visitors from all over the world. They offer cruises and tours through Amsterdam as well as numerous on-board packages for our boats and busses. Their mission: providing lifelong memories to all visitors of Amsterdam.
Due to our proven track record for Stromma since 2014, they reached out to us to help them modernize their employer branding efforts. In a rapidly changing Amsterdam labour market with increased competition, we realised that a limited timeframe was essential for optimal results. Collaborating closely with Stromma's Marketing, HR and IT departments, we combined strategy, design and agile development to deliver a fully functioning online recruitment platform within 8 weeks. And while the current platform has already seen a sharp increase in conversion rates, we are already focussing on the next round of improvements.
